Directions:

  1. Cover 2 bags vegetarian chunks with 7 gallons water or vegetarian chicken broth and simmer for 35-40 minutes, until fork tender.
  2. In a separate bowl mix the 2 bags seasoning blend with:
    1 gallon of Ketchup(sweet) or 1 gallon of tomato sauce (Regular)
    1 quart of orange or lemon juice (can substitute Vinegar if needed)
    2 # 10 cans of pineapple tidbits (with juice)
  3. Drain vegetarian chunks and stir into seasoning mixture – bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until sauce thickens. Serve hot.

Chef's Corner :

  • Is great served over rice with a side of broccoli.
  • Add ketchup & orange juice (to taste) with fresh pineapple chunks before baking for a true Hawaiian delight
 

Ingredients:
Vegetarian Slices: Textured soy protein

Spice Blend: Evaporated cane juice, potato starch, dehydrated vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, onion), soy sauce powder (soybeans, salt, wheat with maltodextrin), vinegar powder,  xanthan - tragacanth - guar gums, tomato powder, spices, citric acid, garlic powder, natural flavor,  extractives of paprika, caramel color. Not more than 2% soybean oil as processing aid.
