Directions:

  1. Simmer 2 bags of vegetarian slices in 7 gallons of water, chicken or vegetarian broth for 35 minutes or until fork tender.
  2. In a separate bowl mix 2 bags seasoning blend with:
    1 gallon of ketchup, 2 quarts of orange juice
    2 cups lemon juice, 1 lb diced carrots & peppers
  3. Drain vegetarian slices and add to the spice mixture.
  4. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes. Serve hot.

  • Sweet and Sour Vege Sliced Chicken is great served over rice or pasta.
  • Add Mandarin, Oranges or Pineapple for a sweet & tangy sauce.
  • Add a side of steaming green beans or broccoli.

Seasoning Blend: Brown sugar, sugar, potato starch, dried onions-bell peppers, soy sauce powder (soybeans, salt, wheat with maltodextrin), soybean oil, lemon juice flavor (with citric acid, maltodextrin, acacia gum, and spices.
